It’s almost summertime, which means time to tend the lawn. Lawn care can be relatively basic and low maintenance, but even the healthiest of lawns can use a little extra TLC. Whatever your lawn situation is, there may come a time when it needs a little extra help to grow that brilliant lush green grass.
Founded in 1925 by Myrtle H. King, a Henderson County native, King Hardware is a family owned and operated business. Myrtle, husband JT and three of their children (JD, Gladys Pursley and Lucille Bryson) all worked in the business. Myrtle’s grandson, Joe King, took over operations in 1985. Aided by his mother, Wilma, a retired Hendersonville math teacher, Joe expanded the business to include equipment rental services. Today, King Hardware and Equipment Rental maintains an extensive inventory of earth moving and landscaping equipment, lifts and more. And through our partnership with DoItBest, customers can purchase hardware items online for home or in-store delivery. We’re proud to continue an almost 100 year old tradition of providing quality service to our community.
